I felt like staring this thread myself. ;D For information see this article: Dawn of a New Era: Legacy of the ForceShira Brie... The mystery of Vergere... I'm intrigued. I'm also wondering about this "planetary interests" thing. They refering to little interplanetary squabbles? Like what they Jedi dealt with on a normal basis during the Old Republic? Or something larger that will lead into Luke's "visions of an approaching darkness."? But alas, we must wait until sometime next year for these questions to be answered. But feel free to speculate here without giving away any information from the preceding NJO and Dark Nest books.

Cool....
I was wondering if every book for now on was just gonna be NJO.

I figured it would be. That's how the original eras were mapped out. I guess they decided to try something new, though. It's cool with me, though. I like the idea.

Yup.
Though it sounds like it'll mostly be like the NJO... But I suppose that now it's not so new anymore and now more of a "legacy." ;-p

Yeah, the NJO seemed like the Jedi Order was just getting it's feet back on the ground, while this seems, from what it looked like in the article, that the Order would have been basically rebuilt, just smaller than originally. I guess Luke is s'posed to, like, finally figure out how the Jedi should act and he tries to match everyone to that standard or something...

Yeah, towards the end of the NJO he was questioning whether he made the right decision.
