I'm curious about it. I want to see what happens. I really do, I hope they don't screw it up. But you have to wonder how it would work... Star Wars isn't exactly something that translates easy to a 30-minute or 1-hour long show. It could be quite difficult to set up, but I'm looking forward to it, if for nothing else to see what they do with it.

Yeah... it all depends. How they set it up.....who the actors are....

If they're gonna have Vader they gotta at least get James Earl Jones for the voice... I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the Vader voice...

Oh, I agree.
But I imagine it'll be like random non-movie characters. Just like some kids having adventures or whatever.
I don't think it'll be like a primetime show or anything....Closer to the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles...

Yeah, I can see that. Though I never saw Young Indiana Jones. But that still tied back to the movie by having a major character, just younger. So it would mean they could put in Luke younger but what does a farmboy do? Especially when they farm WATER!

Hehe.
I have a feeling it'll be more like those after-school shows....than something major on primetime.

Like... an educational-type show... Where every show has some moral you're supposed to get out of it...
Aw, man I can see it now. "Remember kids, lightsabers are not something to be played with. Someone could lose an eye. Or an arm... a leg... head, foot... uh... don't play with lightsabers"

LMAO, yeah.
Some stupid 30 minute sitcom or something, that you watch at 4pm.

Yeah... I hope they make something entertaining out of it. But as I said I really can't see anything to base it around. Unless maybe like one ship, or group of ships, in the Imperial fleet trying to maintain some semblence of order in the universe. Or, ooo, a small rebel fleet, slowly building itself up and making simple hit-and0run attacks against the Empire. Doesn't require anyone from the movies so you don't need to worry about getting the actors back, maybe JEJ for a few to do the voice of Vader every so often. And Ian McDarmid for Palpatine... possible Jimmy Smits to play Bail Organa in a few episodes. But I doubt you would get any of them for any long stretch in the show.

Especially if it wasn't primetime.
But yeah... there needs some filling in between 3 and 4. Events put in motion..

From Wookieepedia"Recent news of a Star Wars live-action TV show being created sometime in the future has surfaced, and it is speculated that Vos may be one of the characters in the show that is slated to take place in the 19 years between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. George Lucas himself is said to have requested that Quinlan survive The Hidden Enemy arc, possibly because of plans for an appearance in the TV series." This would be cool. Seeing Quinlan Vos in the TV series. At least he's an established character. And he WAS gonna appear in ROTS but his scene got cut so... But this could be little more than fanboys/girls and their dreams. Wookieepedia is like Wikipedia where ANYONE can add info so until I see a more reliable source I will lable this as 'dubious'.

Yeah, I know.
I think the only thing we can mostly confirm is the time period of the show.
